1 Peter 2:1-3 'Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. '
Like newborn babies, let's accept the word of God willingly.
hmm but do not remain baby forever.. Every spiritual child must grow up.
ReplyDeleteThe purpose of Spiritual milk is to help the baby to grow up and become a spiritual adult.
One day we will have to move from the fundamentals just like what hebrews said
"Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment" (Heb 6:1-2)
